Please note that there is a 1-drink minimum and that each drink is $10. After paying the admission at the club's entrance, you will proceed downstairs WITH GOVERNMENT-ISSUED ID and purchase your drink ticket and be given a wrist band which either allows or prevents you from getting an alcoholic beverage. YOU CAN ONLY GET A WRISTBAND TO DRINK WITH ID. Then the business transactions are over--present your drink ticket to the hunky bartender/cocktail waiter, grab a drink and enjoy the show! 2-4-1 drinks begin immediately after the performance. Bunny will also be on hand to pose for pics with fans, sell her outrageous comedy dvd and mop the floors with her wig. (Dvd is cash sales only.)

LADY BUNNY in THAT AIN'T NO LADY!
The raunchy, demented drag diva of Wigstock fame presents her first full-length one wo-man show in almost a decade at the popular latin nightspot La Escuelita every. Fast-paced and action-packed with glitzy costumes and Bunny's trademark gravity-defying bouffant wig, THAT AIN'T NO LADY! is a cabaret designed for a night club crowd--no lengthy monologues or sappy show tunes here. For mature audiences who enjoy irreverent humor! Since there are a lot of pop music parodies, this show is especially well-suited to audiences who have some familiarity with pop music so that they'll know the original versions which are being parodied.

Though she just finished her second season of RUPAUL'S DRAG U on LOGO as the Dean Of Drag giving contestants "Lady Lessons", Bunny's deliciously bawdy brand humor is far from ladylike. Bunny re-works pop songs into hysterical parodies, using recent smashes like Ke$ha's TIK TOK (which Bunny transforms into BIG COCK) to classics like ALL THAT JIZZ. No musical genre is sacred so expect to hear from everyone from Katy Perry to Taio Cruz to Britney and Whitney. Sprinkle in zany Laugh-In style joke routines for added politically incorrect fun.

The wacky blonde will also re-create some of her hit youtube videos, including her rap debut with a parody of Like A G6--the ode to uncircumcised men entitled Like A Cheese Stick, which was featured on Perez Hilton and Dlisted. Finally, a tribute to recently departed musical giant Amy Winehouse. And just wait until you get a load of Bunny as the monstrous "Scare" in a wicked spoof of Cher in BURLESQUE.

With a ticket price of $14.98 that's as cheap as her humor and a recession-friendly 1 drink minimum, THAT AIN'T NO LADY provides over an hour of laughs for a decidedly affordable price. However, since Bunny's singing has been known to drive audiences to drink, there is a strictly-enforced 25 drink maximum. And this show re-introduces a quintessentially NYC venue with a great stage and atmosphere while bringing some much-needed trash back to the increasingly Disney-fied Times Square area. After the show, boogie to soulful, vocal house to satisfy everyone's gripe that they hate today's dance music. So expect to hear dance classics like Deee-Lite, Crystal Waters, Whitney Houston and absolutely no Rihanna, Ke$ha, Gaga, Katy Perry or Britney. For 1 hour after the show, 2-4-1 drinks will be offered.

PLEASE NOTE: Online ticket sales end 2 hours before showtime--ie 6PM. No credit cards are accepted at the door-- Cash payments for admission only. Credit cards are accepted for drink purchases.

Q&A

Question: Is this general admission seating ? Is there table seating for us old folks ?
Answer: There are tables in the back, but they are surround by bar stools. I don't have a great back myself and 1 and 1/2 hours on a bar stool sounds rough to me. The front rows are all very comfy couches which are great for a bad back or a group of 4 or more. I'd get there early to grab one if comfort is an issue.

Question: Saw the show last week, want to buy Holiday Tkts, but want the Reserve seats...how do I get them???
Answer: Sorry! I just figured out how to work the help line. Currently there are plenty of seats available through the month of December. There isn't really a way to reserve seats except to get there when the doors open and have at least one member of your party hold the seats for the rest of you. Sorry, but we are kinda simple around here but there is generally plenty of room.

Question: Hi Bunny, Can't wait to see your show! Do the doors open at 8pm or does the show start at 8pm? I want to make sure I'm front and center, xoxo
Answer: The doors open at 7PM and the show starts at 8PM. While it is in a nightclub and it is a drag show, we try to start as close to 8 as possible so it's recommended that you get there a bit before and grab your drink and a good seat.

Question: Totally confused here: NY Times review (a rave!) mentions it's an open-ended run, this website mentions December 26th, but site offers tix through end of January. Help!
Answer: Sorry about my boo boo. I just changed the info to reflect that the run is indefinite. We were going to run through the end of October, then November, then December and now we're just gonna keep it going until....

Question: Dearest Lady Bunny of MacBunnerton, I just bought two tix to your show on Jan 10th only to have my spouse inform me that the show on the 24th of January is the only one she can attend. Can I exchange tickets for the show on that date?
Answer: Sure! Just send me your name and I'll make sure you are on a comp list 1 for the 1/24 performance. PS: Who told you my real name?

Question: Lady Bunny of MacBunnerton, royal heiress to the House of Bunnophilia: Thank you for your prompt response! I will send you the info you requested to your gmail account if that please you. PS. I just finished watching the first season of Game of Thrones which, if anything, taught me the proper way to address royalty.
Answer: HAHA! If you are that crazy, you will love this show! But tell me your name so I can put you on 1 for the 24th!

Question: What is the estimated running time of the show?
Answer: Never under 1:15 but sometimes I get to blabbing or do an encore and it could go to 1:30.

Question: Miss Bunny, | Know you have lots of herpes outbreaks & hemroid inflammation so i was wanting to know is there a 'Threat Level' chart like Homeland Security has for terrorism to warn potential ticket buyers if the show will be Your regular irritated self or an infuriated version of an already disgruntled Bunny?
Answer: OK, this is my favorite question yet and you clearly know me well. Tonight's threat level is low--but you know how quickly that can change.

Question: Lady Bunny of MacBunnerton, I am writing to confirm that you were able to add me to the comp list +1 for the show tonight. I purchased two tickets for the show on Jan 10th but requested to change to tonight's show. I trust that you remembered but my spouse asked me to double check. I can email you my name again if you'd like. ps. can't wait to see the show!
Answer: Email me your name again please and I'll stick you on.

Question: I bought tickets for the 3rd April..... How do I go about getting a refund? Really gutted we won't get to see you....
Answer: I am so sorry but there was a major scheduling snafu! For a refund, please call the brownpapertickets hotline or email them for support. Provide the event name and they will tell you how to proceed. They normally pick right up when you call with very little waiting. 24/7 Ticket Hotline: 1-800-838-3006 | Support@BrownPaperTickets.com

Question: I am in NYC in eary may, will you be performing then?
Answer: I will eventually revive an updated version of the show but not before June. So please check back!
